Role: Designer
Scope: Brand Strategy, UX/UI Design, Web Development
Challenge
The Carson Leslie Foundation needed a website that could honor Carson’s story while clearly communicating the foundation’s mission: helping kids fight brain cancer through research, encouragement, and advocacy. The site needed to feel hopeful and human, while making it easy for visitors to understand the cause, explore the foundation’s impact, and take meaningful action.
Approach
The website was designed around a warm, mission-driven visual system using bold orange, soft cream tones, strong typography, and personal imagery. The homepage introduces the foundation with an emotional hero section, clear donation paths, and focused content areas for Research, Encouragement, and Advocacy & Action. Navigation was structured to guide visitors quickly toward learning, donating, volunteering, reading stories, or getting involved.
Results
The refreshed website gives the Carson Leslie Foundation a stronger digital presence that feels personal, credible, and action-oriented. It helps visitors connect emotionally with the mission while providing clear pathways to donate, learn, volunteer, and support the foundation’s work. The result is a compassionate and polished online hub that honors Carson’s legacy and makes the foundation’s impact easier to understand and support.
